Trail Inspiration: Films & Books

These are just a few of the films and books I have read that inspire me to travel and observe the natural world.

This documentary makes me want to hike the Pacific Crest Trail.

This film by Emilio Esteves was incredibly beautiful. It has created quite a stir because tourists have now flocked to the region to hike El Camino de Santiago.

A favorite film of mine and yet another controversial one. Many people have a strong opinion on the journey of this man, some think of him as a coward, some think he was brave, I think he was just a man who chose a path of his own.

There is a lot of awesome inspiration here! I personally loved Into The Wild, as controversial as it may be. The books you posted look really interesting, I am definitely going to add them to my to-read list.
